Magnolia ‘Todd Gresham’ produces goblet-shaped flowers with red-purple exteriors and white interiors. The flowers can reach up to 25cm wide and typically have nine tepals. They bloom for a long period, starting from early spring. Magnolia ‘Todd Gresham’ has elegant, spreading branches and begins to flower from an early age. It is deciduous, not native to New Zealand, and a hybrid between Magnolia x veitchii and Magnolia x soulangeana ‘Rustica Rubra’. ‘Todd Gresham’ was raised before 1984 and was introduced by Ken Durio of Louisiana Nursery in Louisiana, United States.
