Sophora molloyi 'Dragon's Gold' is a dense, bushy grower that spreads widely, with an abundance of foliage. Its yellow flowers bloom from late autumn to early spring and are known to attract nectar-seeking birds. Sophora molloyi 'Dragon's Gold' is capable of enduring cold conditions and coastal winds. Sophora molloyi is evergreen and native to New Zealand. 'Dragon's Gold' was selected in the 1950s by Terry Hatch of Joy Plants from plant material sourced from Stephens Island, New Zealand.
