Operating from our 35+ acre facility in Palmerston North, we specialise in large-grade specimen trees, supplying over 700 varieties to residential customers, commercial developers, landscape architects and councils across New Zealand.
The role
We are seeking a proactive and personable Customer Service & Sales Support Officer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-established, professional business with a strong growth trajectory. The successful candidate will support our sales and customer service operations, with the potential to develop into a full sales role for high performers.
Key responsibilities
- Answer and manage incoming customer phone calls
- Provide responsive, knowledgeable customer service by email and phone
- Prepare accurate and professional quotes for customer enquiries
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Maintain detailed and organised customer records
- Support the sales team with administrative and customer-facing tasks
- Contribute to a collaborative, professional team environment
- Develop product knowledge and provide valuable customer guidance
About you

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly, professional manner with a genuine passion for customer service
- Strong IT skills and confidence with computer systems and software
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

- A genuine interest in horticulture, gardening or outdoor industries (desirable but not required)
- Enthusiasm to learn and develop your career in a sales environment
Location and working arrangement
The primary office is based in Palmerston North. However, for the right candidate with proven reliability and communication skills, we are open to flexible working arrangements, with the option to work remotely from anywhere in New Zealand.
