Nectarine ‘Mabel’ has beautiful burgundy-purple foliage in the spring, which changes to green over the summer. It produces stunning pink blossoms in the spring, followed by delicious, sweet, purple-skinned nectarines with pale-yellow flesh in late-summer. Nectarine ‘Mabel’ is self-fertile and highly resistant to leaf curl. Nectarine is deciduous and native to China. Nectarine ‘Mabel’ was discovered before 2010 by Mabel Stewart in her garden in Oratia, Auckland (PVR 30818).
