Nectarine ‘Goldmine’

Nectarine ‘Goldmine’ produces medium-sized, white-fleshed, freestone fruit that is juicy and sweet, with white and red-blushed skin. The fruit ripens in mid-summer, and the pink blossoms of Nectarine ‘Goldmine’ appear in the spring. Its leaves turn yellow in the autumn. This old favorite cultivar is known for being very productive, and it is self-fertile. Nectarine is deciduous and native to China. Nectarine ‘Goldmine’ originated in the early 1900s in a garden in Parnell, Auckland, New Zealand as a chance seedling of Nectarine ‘Ansenne’.
