Michelia x foggii ‘Mixed Up Miss’ forms a pyramidal shape and has shining, pale-green leaves. Its velvet buds open to deliciously fragrant, cream-white, rounded flowers with purple edges in the spring. Michelia x foggii ‘Mixed Up Miss’ drops its leaves as the flowers emerge, but quickly refoliates once flowering has finished. Michelia x foggii is evergreen, not native to New Zealand, and a hybrid between Michelia figo and Michelia doltsopa. Michelia x foggii was first crossed in 1972 by John Fogg at the Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Learn more about Michelia x foggii.
