Description
Forms a vase-shaped tree with a spreading crown of branches which weep at their tips. Narrow, pale-green leaves turn yellow, orange, and scarlet in autumn. Tolerant of drought once established and withstands strong winds. Zelkova serrata (Japanese Elm) is a deciduous tree that grows to 8m (H) x 5m (W) in 10 years.
