Multi-branched with a dense, rounded form. Small, dark-green, leathery leaves. Blush-white flowers from carmine-pink buds in spring, followed by metallic blue-black fruit. An excellent hedge or screen as grows right to the ground and clips readily. Will grow in shade. More floriferous and smaller-growing than Viburnum tinus. Evergreen tree that grows at a moderate rate to reach 1.5m (H) x 1.5m (W) in 10 years.
