Description

A smaller growing kowhai with a neat spreading form. Makes a perfect small shade tree for a suburban garden. Small greyish green leaves tolerate moderate coastal conditions and dryness. Large golden yellow spring flowers attract nectar seeking birds. Flowers from October to November. Evergreen tree that grows at a moderate rate to reach 3m (H) x 3m (W) in 10 years.
