Salix babylonica – (Weeping Willow)

Description

Arching wide spreading branches that weep to the ground. Branches are polished brown and are covered with slender deep green leaves which are blue grey underneath. Slender catkins appear with new spring leaves. Wonderful paddock or park shade tree, or for wet areas next to water. Deciduous tree that grows at a fast rate to reach 9m (H) x 9m (W) in 10 years.
