Description

A member of the Red Oak family. Grows into a medium sized tree with a cylindrical form and rounded head. Glossy green deeply cut leaves turn scarlet, yellow, and bronze in winter. Very similar to Quercus palustris, but will do better in a dry site. Deciduous tree that grows at a moderate rate to reach 10m (H) x 6m (W) in 10 years.
