Quercus cerris
Turkey Oak
This oak is fast-growing and coastal-hardy, producing a wide-spreading tree of noble proportions. Its rich-green, oblong, lobed leaves turn yellow in autumn, making it an excellent choice for both shelter and as a specimen tree. Quercus cerris also produces large crops of acorns. Quercus cerris is deciduous and native from south-central and southern Europe to Turkey, Syria, and Lebanon. Learn more about Quercus cerris.
