Quercus bicolor
Swamp White Oak
This is an easily-grown, rounded tree that produces glossy leaves felted with grey underneath. During autumn, the leaves turn a vibrant orange-red, especially in warm, sunny weather. Quercus bicolor also produces acorns and can tolerate moist soils, making it suitable for growth on the edge of water. Quercus bicolor is deciduous and native to southeast Canada and north-central and eastern United States.
