Pear ‘Taylor’s Gold’ produces pears with russeted, cinnamon-colored skin and a juicy, aromatic flavor. The flesh is ivory to cream-colored. The fruit ripens from mid to late autumn and its pollinators include Pear ‘Packham’s Triumph’, Pear ‘Williams’ Bon Chrétien’, and Pear ‘Winter Cole’. Pear ‘Taylor’s Gold’ produces white blossoms in the spring and yellow and orange autumn leaves, adding to its visual appeal. Pear is deciduous and native to Europe. Pear ‘Taylor’s Gold’ was discovered in 1986 growing in an orchard belonging to Michael King-Turner in Motueka, New Zealand (PVR 626).
