Prunus x yedoensis ‘Mountain Haze’ produces masses of small, pale-pink to white flowers with deep-pink centers that cover the gently-arching branches in early-spring, adding a soft and delicate look to the landscape. Prunus x yedoensis ‘Mountain Haze’ forms a tidy, rounded shape, making it an excellent choice for smaller gardens. In the autumn months, the foliage of Prunus x yedoensis ‘Mountain Haze’ turns shades of orange, red, and yellow, adding a bright splash of color to the landscape. Prunus x yedoensis is a hybrid between Prunus speciosa and Prunus itosakura (syn. Prunus subhirtella). Prunus x yedoensis is deciduous and native to Japan.
