Prunus serrulata ‘Ukon’

Prunus serrulata ‘Ukon’ has a vase-shaped growth habit with upright, spreading branches. Soft-pink buds open to light-green to cream flowers, sometimes tinged with pink. Prunus serrulata ‘Ukon’ produces large, double flowers that are very unique and nestle among the bronze-colored emerging leaves. The flowers bloom from early to mid-spring. In the autumn months, the leaves turn shades of yellow, orange, and red, adding a bright splash of color to the landscape.
