These flowers fade to white as they age. The leaves of Prunus serrulata ‘Ichiyo’ emerge as bronze-green in the spring and age to deep-green over the summer months. In the autumn, the leaves of Prunus serrulata ‘Ichiyo’ turn beautiful shades of orange and red, adding a bright splash of color to any landscape.
