Prunus salicina ‘Satsuma’

The plums have purple-red skin and red flesh, and Prunus salicina ‘Satsuma’ produces white flowers during the spring season. The fruit typically ripens around late-summer and while Prunus salicina ‘Satsuma’ is partially self-fertile, planting it with Prunus salicina ‘Santa Rosa’ or Prunus salicina ‘Shiro’ can result in better yields.
