The fruit is a sizable, circular, and vivid red plum with fragrant, amber-colored flesh. It is densely meaty, sugary, and succulent, ripening in the middle to late part of summer. Plum ‘Fortune’ bears white blossoms during the spring season, and its pollinator is Plum ‘Santa Rosa’. Additionally, the leaves of Plum ‘Fortune’ turn yellow during the autumn months.
