Plum ‘Burbank’ features white flowers in spring and yellow autumn leaves. Although it is partially self-fertile, planting it with another cultivar such as Plum ‘Santa Rosa’ can result in better yields. Plum is deciduous and native to Russia, China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Learn more about Plum. Plum ‘Burbank’ was selected in 1885 by Luther Burbank (1849-1926) in Santa Rosa, California, United States from seedlings he had received from Isaac Bunting in Yokohama, Japan.
