The fruit is slightly flat and clingstone and ripens in late-summer. The pink blossoms of Prunus persica ‘Golden Queen’ appear from late-winter to late-spring, and its leaves turn yellow in the autumn. Prunus persica ‘Golden Queen’ is self-fertile.
