Cherry ‘Lapins’
Cherry
The fruit of Cherry ‘Lapins’ are large, dark-red, and firm, with a good flavor. They ripen from mid-summer and are resistant to cracking. The leaves of Cherry ‘Lapins’ turn orange to red in the autumn, and it produces white flowers in the spring. Additionally, it is self-fertile. Cherry is deciduous and native to Europe. Cherry ‘Lapins’ was developed by Karlis Lapins at the Summerland Research Station in Summerland, British Columbia, Canada and was released in 1983.
