Plum ‘Purple King’
Japanese Plum
The fruit is very large, with purple skin and yellow flesh, and has a sweet and juicy taste. It typically ripens in the late-summer period and is an excellent choice for cultivation in warmer regions. Plum ‘Purple King’ produces white flowers during the spring season and has low to moderate resistance to bacterial disease. To achieve pollination, it requires Plum ‘Billington’ or Plum ‘Santa Rosa’.
