Platanus orientalis ‘Autumn Glory’
Oriental Plane
Platanus orientalis ‘Autumn Glory’ is a selected form of Platanus orientalis that grows rapidly to form a dense, round-headed tree. Its bark peels off in large flakes, giving it a dappled appearance. The smaller leaves are deeply-lobed, and during the autumn season, they turn into beautiful shades of gold and orange, making it a great choice as a shade tree for large lawns, parks, and streets. Platanus orientalis ‘Autumn Glory’ is also tolerant of pollution. Platanus orientalis is deciduous and native from the eastern Mediterranean to Iran. Learn more about Platanus orientalis.
