Pear ‘Conference’ produces long-necked, green pears with some russeting, featuring an excellent juicy flavor. It is moderately-vigorous and slightly-spreading, making it an excellent choice for home gardeners. While it is partially self-fertile, it produces better crops when planted with Pear ‘Packham’s Triumph’. The fruit ripens in mid-autumn, and Pear ‘Conference’ also produces white blossoms in the spring and yellow and orange autumn leaves, adding to its visual appeal.
