Parrotia persica has a broad and horizontal branch structure, and its tough leaves turn vibrant shades of orange, yellow, red, and purple in autumn. During late winter to early spring, it produces stunning red flowers. Parrotia persica is capable of withstanding considerable drought and wind exposure. It can be clipped into a hedge or trained for pleaching. Parrotia persica is deciduous and native to Iran, Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan.
