Olearia paniculata ‘Kaikōura’ features dark-green leaves with wavy margins and is an excellent choice for use in screening or as a hedge. It is capable of tolerating hard coastal conditions and cold winters, but it requires excellent drainage to thrive. This particular plant was selected from Kaikōura in the South Island of New Zealand. It is also suitable as a coastal street tree.
