Muehlenbeckia astonii

Muehlenbeckia astonii is a dense, upright grower with a tangle of interlacing red-brown branches and divaricating stems. It features small, heart-shaped green leaves and is very tough and hardy, making it an excellent choice as a filler, for island beds, and for covering old tree stumps. Muehlenbeckia astonii is evergreen and native to New Zealand.
