Michelia ‘Fairy White’ has shining, pale-green leaves and a strong, horizontal branching structure that makes it ideal for training, particularly pleaching. From early spring, it produces long, russet buds that open to fragrant, star-shaped flowers of pure-white. ‘Fairy White’ is evergreen, not native to New Zealand, and was bred by Mark Jury in Tikorangi, Taranaki, New Zealand and introduced in 2013 (PVR 31112).
