Michelia ‘Fairy Cream’

Michelia ‘Fairy Cream’ has shining, pale-green leaves and a strong, horizontal branching structure that makes it ideal for training, particularly pleaching. From early spring, it produces long, russet buds that open to fragrant, star-shaped cream flowers. Michelia ‘Fairy Cream’ can be grown as a specimen tree. ‘Fairy Cream’ is evergreen, not native to New Zealand, and was bred by Mark Jury in Tikorangi, Taranaki, New Zealand and introduced in 2013 (PVR 31113).
