Malus ‘Mt Aurum’ has an upright, pyramidal habit and produces pink buds that open to white flowers in the spring. It produces large, gold-yellow fruit in heavy clusters during the autumn season, which are great for making jelly. Malus ‘Mt Aurum’ also has yellow autumn leaves, which add to its visual appeal. Additionally, Malus ‘Mt Aurum’ is self-fertile and doesn’t need another tree to produce fruit. Malus ‘Mt Aurum’ is deciduous, not native to New Zealand, and was developed in New Zealand.
