This vase-shaped tree features a profusion of large, pink-white, semi-double flowers that emerge from pink buds during late spring. Malus ioensis ‘Plena’ produces lovely yellow, orange, and red autumn leaves but hardly any fruit. Due to its characteristics, Malus ioensis ‘Plena’ is an excellent option as a street tree.
