Malus ‘Ellerslie’

Malus ‘Ellerslie’ is an excellent choice and produces red new leaves that change to purple-green throughout the summer, and then become red again in autumn. In the spring, Malus ‘Ellerslie’ features dark-red buds that open to soft-crimson flowers, followed by small, red crabapples in the autumn. Malus ‘Ellerslie’ is deciduous, not native to New Zealand, and was developed by Matthews Nurseries in Whanganui, New Zealand (PVR 1025).
