Malus domestica ‘Fuji’ produces large, sweet, crisp, red-skinned apples, similar to ‘Red Delicious’. The fruit ripens in late autumn and is excellent for eating and storage. Malus domestica ‘Fuji’ is a vigorous grower and produces pink buds that open to white flowers in spring. It requires Malus domestica ‘Braeburn’, Malus domestica ‘Golden Delicious’, or Malus domestica ‘Red Delicious’ for pollination and fruit production. Malus domestica is deciduous and native to Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and China. Learn more about Malus domestica.
