Malus domestica ‘Braeburn’
Apple
Malus domestica ‘Braeburn’ is one of the world’s top commercial apples, with delicious, crisp, juicy flesh and a superb sweet-tart flavour. It is an excellent keeper, and its fruits can be harvested from late summer to mid-autumn. Malus domestica ‘Braeburn’ produces pink buds that open to white flowers in the spring. It is partially self-fertile, but it is best to plant it with another cultivar that has a similar bloom period, such as Malus domestica ‘Fuji’ or Malus domestica ‘Granny Smith’. Malus domestica is deciduous and native to Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and China. Learn more about Malus domestica.
