Michelia ‘Touch of Pink’ is attractive and features long, glossy, green, leathery leaves. The medium-sized, cup-shaped flowers have a lovely scent and a hint of pink. These flowers are produced from late winter through spring, making Michelia ‘Touch of Pink’ an excellent choice as a specimen tree. Michelia ‘Touch of Pink’ is correctly known as Magnolia ‘Touch of Pink’, but the incorrect name has been retained for consistency with the New Zealand market. Magnolia ‘Touch of Pink’ is evergreen, not native to New Zealand, and a hybrid between Magnolia doltsopa and Magnolia figo.
