Magnolia ‘Todd Gresham’ produces goblet-shaped flowers with red-purple exteriors and white interiors. The flowers can reach up to 25cm wide and typically have nine tepals. They bloom for a long period, starting from early spring. Magnolia ‘Todd Gresham’ has elegant, spreading branches and begins to flower from an early age. Magnolia ‘Todd Gresham’ is deciduous, not native to New Zealand, and a hybrid between Magnolia x veitchii and Magnolia x soulangeana ‘Rustica Rubra’. Magnolia ‘Todd Gresham’ was raised before 1984 and was introduced by Ken Durio of Louisiana Nursery in Louisiana, United States.
