Magnolia ‘Strawberry Fields’ produces large, vibrant, strawberry-red flowers in early spring. It begins to flower from an early age and is an excellent choice for a street tree. Magnolia ‘Strawberry Fields’ grows upright and has a columnar shape. Magnolia ‘Strawberry Fields’ is deciduous, not native to New Zealand, and a hybrid between Magnolia ‘Pegasus’ and Magnolia ‘Vulcan’. Magnolia ‘Strawberry Fields’ was produced by Ian Baldick in Drury, New Zealand.
