Magnolia stellata ‘Waterlily’ is a vigorous, compact, multi-branched grower that produces large, semi-double flowers with many petals. The flowers open from pale-pink buds to star-shaped white flowers with a blush of pink on each petal. It begins to flower in early spring from an early age. Magnolia stellata is deciduous and native to Japan. ‘Waterlily’ is believed to be of Japanese origin.
