This Magnolia has a wide, multi-stemmed, and spreading growth habit. It produces pendant, cup-shaped flowers in a creamy-white color with prominent crimson stamens throughout the summer season. Following the flowers, crimson seed pods appear. It is recommended to plant this species on a bank or raise it up so that the exquisite flowers can be viewed from below. Magnolia sieboldii is deciduous and native to China, Japan, and Korea.
