Magnolia ‘Milky Way’
Magnolia
Magnolia ‘Milky Way’ produces large, heavily-textured, ice-white flowers with a soft-pink base. The cup-shaped blooms are deliciously fragrant and appear in spring. Magnolia ‘Milky Way’ has an upright, neatly-rounded growth habit, making it ideal for smaller gardens. It starts blooming at a young age. Magnolia ‘Milky Way’ is deciduous, not native to New Zealand, and a hybrid between Magnolia x soulangeana ‘Lennei Alba’ and Magnolia ‘Mark Jury’. Magnolia ‘Milky Way’ was raised by Felix Jury in New Zealand and was introduced in 1988.
