Magnolia grandiflora ‘Little Gem’ has a compact, narrowly-columnar growth habit and features glossy, deep-green leaves with brown felt underneath. It produces white, citrus-scented flowers from spring through autumn. Magnolia grandiflora ‘Little Gem’ is excellent for smaller gardens and as a street tree, and is tolerant of poorly-drained positions. Its leaves are usually 12.5cm long by 5cm wide.
