This large and upright-growing tree produces a magnificent display of huge, purple-pink, cup and saucer-shaped flowers with white flushed pink interiors from late-winter to early-spring. The flowers have 12 tepals and can be as wide as 23cm. Although Magnolia campbellii ‘Charles Raffill’ takes around five years to start flowering, it is well worth the wait.
