Magnolia ‘Arabian Nights’
Magnolia
Magnolia ‘Arabian Nights’ is a strong, upright, and rounded grower that tends to get larger with age. In the early spring, it produces a profusion of large, bowl-shaped blooms with a rich purple-red color, adding to its visual appeal. Magnolia ‘Arabian Nights’ is deciduous, not native to New Zealand, and a hybrid between Magnolia ‘Sayonara’ and Magnolia ‘Vulcan’. Magnolia ‘Arabian Nights’ was raised by Stuart Robertson in about 2000 at the Auckland Botanic Gardens in Auckland, New Zealand and was named in about 2007.
