Lagerstroemia indica ‘De’Puard’ has a compact, rounded head and smooth, mottled bark. It produces lime-green leaves in the spring that mature to green in the summer before turning brilliant shades of red, orange, and yellow in the autumn. In the summer, Lagerstroemia indica ‘De’Puard’ produces large, cone-shaped panicles of light-pink to pale-purple flowers. Lagerstroemia indica is deciduous and native to India, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, the Himalayas, Myanmar, Nepal, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
