Griselinia littoralis ‘Whenuapai’ has large, glossy, dark-green leaves that form a tight, narrow column, making it an excellent choice for architectural plantings. The foliage has a distinctive pointed leaf tip, which gives it a neat and tidy appearance. It is ideally suited for hedging, topiary work, and coastal plantings. Prefers fertile, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade and is a hardy variety. Additionally, it produces small, green-yellow flowers in late spring to mid-summer. Griselinia littoralis is evergreen and native to New Zealand. Griselinia littoralis ‘Whenuapai’ was developed by Kiwi Flora in Auckland, New Zealand (PVR 2520).
