Fraxinus angustifolia subsp. oxycarpa ‘Raywood’ has an elegant, pyramidal growth habit when young, which broadens to a rounded canopy with age. It is a popular choice for areas with limited space but a need for height. The new growth is bronze-purple, which turns dark-green over the summer. In the autumn, Fraxinus angustifolia subsp. oxycarpa ‘Raywood’ displays beautiful colors of orange, purple, and red. It is an excellent choice for use as an avenue, driveway, or street tree.
