Feijoa sellowiana ‘Mammoth’
Feijoa
Feijoa sellowiana ‘Mammoth’ produces medium to large-sized fruit with sweet, soft, juicy, and slightly gritty pulp. It is a strong-growing plant that forms a large bush and typically fruits from late-autumn to early-winter. It also produces beautiful red flowers from late-spring to mid-summer. Feijoa sellowiana ‘Mammoth’ is coastal and wind-hardy, making it an excellent choice for hedges and screens. While it is partially self-fertile, better crops are achieved when planted with any other feijoa cultivar. Feijoa sellowiana is evergreen and native to the highlands of southern Brazil, eastern Paraguay, Uruguay, northern Argentina, and Colombia. Learn more about Feijoa sellowiana.
