Dodonaea viscosa ‘Purpurea’ – (Purple Akeake, Hopbush)

Description

Quick-growing, upright, small tree, bushy to the ground. Long, narrow, purple-bronze leaves. Very tough, tolerating sub-zero temperatures, salt-laden winds, drought, and polluted atmospheres. Dodonaea viscosa provides the same look, but with green leaves. Evergreen tree that grows at a fast rate to reach 3m (H) x 2.5m (W) in 10 years.
