Dodonaea viscosa ‘Purpurea’ is a fast-growing, upright cultivar that forms a bushy structure from the ground up. Its long, narrow leaves are a striking purple-bronze color. Dodonaea viscosa ‘Purpurea’ is incredibly resilient, capable of tolerating sub-zero temperatures, salt-laden winds, drought, and polluted atmospheres. It produces yellow-green to red-green flowers from late winter to mid-summer, further adding to its ornamental value.
